Here are some of my Helpful Hints: My diagnostic impression is that she appears to have an Adjustment Disorder with Anxiety, that is work related. There is no disturbance of conduct and she has not reported any clinically depressive features; but, that does not mean that if this condition is not treated, this will not progress into such. We have to think about the duration of symptoms, and frequency, which, Adjustment disorders transpire within 3 months of the precipitant or change, process, issues. So, this would be consistent with the promotion.
Mental Illnesses (Adjustment Disorders, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder) are medical conditions that disrupt a person's thinking, feeling, mood, ability to relate to others and daily functioning (NAMI 2013). Some people live their lives not knowing that they have a mental illness. The causes of mental illness range from physical, social and environmental, and / or psychological.
