For many organizations that operate globally, the complexities surrounding effective global management are a continuous struggle and a never ending challenge. To overcome these challenges, we will target our recruiting efforts toward obtaining an HR Director who has specific proven skill sets that are synergetic with global success and a proven track record of applying their skills in a Director Role or similar role in a global organization.

The HR Director will be responsible for managing the day to day execution of our Global HR strategy, including designing and implementing the strategic Human Resources plan. In addition, the Director will use industry best practices in ensuring that all of our HR functions culminate in a high quality, user-friendly, supportable networked global system. The Director will serve as a key business partner and develop solutions and processes for our HR department and our business. It will be imperative that the HR Director has superior communication skills which he/she will use to translate our company's policies and requirements into action plans and develop working solutions across the organization (Dirks, 2009).

Additionally, the Director will use their knowledge of HR software systems to recommend, plan, and implement system and process enhancements and improvements. This position will be a liaison between all key departments in the organization. The Director will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams in the writing and updating of all functional documentation, business process designs, and many other related human resource directives.

Core education, background, and experience should include (Almond, 2009):
-Strong background in employment law and compensation and benefits strategies as related to a large MNC that operates globally in Union and Non- Union environments.
