Introductory/Transition songs: I have utilized "We're Just Like Crayons" by Stephen Fite, Michael Jackson's "We are the World," and other songs about diversity to open this lesson. If you choose the first, you may provide each student with a different color crayon or allow them to pick one that represents themselves or their favorite color. Use the song to show that we are all different and unique but still share the same human qualities.
