We live in a hectic, multi-media world. That makes the role of public relations chairman more vital to a club's success than ever before. External public relations strategies are often equated with publicity, but it's more than that. The basic purpose of external public relations is twofold: to increase recognition of the company name and to increase public understanding of the company's community-service role, for example.
