It is relatively important to attain adequate knowledge of the project management concepts and principles to evaluate the project success and to understand the problems in an effective manner. In particular, this paper will focus on the project of installing customer relationship management software in our organization.//

It is essential to bring significant improvements in the project management skills that allow the organization to adopt best methods and processes (Morris & Pinto, 2010). Project maturity model provides a logical path for progressive development and facilitates significant transformations in the project. In this respect, the organization is able to link the project with the organization's strategy and needs. Thus, the company focuses on projects that support the strategic goals of the organization. With the help of this model, the organization can map the improvement of the project management processes. Level 1: Initial/Ad Hoc Process:
At the initial stage, the project management activities are not defined properly. The data collection and analysis related to the project management is not done in a systematic manner. Furthermore, it is essential to undertake informal analysis to evaluate the performance of the project, so that corrective actions can be undertaken for project deviations.
