    Introduction

    The business related project, which I have selected, is development of a new product. This project will be handled by a project manager and the team of twelve people. The team will include the 4 executives or support managers, 2 market analysts, 2 product designers, 2 financial managers and 2engineers.

    Role of Project manager

    The project manager needs both the technical competence to understand and meet the project goals and the managerial skills to compete the project with a diverse group of team members. The Project Manager has sole responsibility and authority for project (Haughey, 2008). The Project Manager has the delegated authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis with a responsibility to deliver all required products with the agreed quality within the time and cost constraints laid down by the top management (Haughey, 2008). The role of the project manager encompasses of the activities like creating charts and schedules, activity planning and sequencing, resource planning, developing a budget, team leadership, strategic influencing, etc.

    Role of the team member

    Support managers or task managers have to report to the various line organizations and departments. They have the responsibility for work definition and effective management of the resources to accomplish the authorized work. The role of each member includes

    Executives or support managers: The executive role involves responsibility and authority for the change orders (positive or negative), overall project direction and administration and success of the project implementation (The Project Executive and Project Teams in Automation Projects, 2008). The executives would also deal directly in matters like analyzing, planning and approving automation components into the project from a quality and quantity standpoint. The estimation of time is the main task for the executives.
    Market analysts: The role of the market analysts is to collect the information about the needs and demands in market, which will help in implementation of project. Their task is to collect the data by conducting the reviews and surveys,
    Product designers: The role of the product designers is to design the different designs for the product (The Project Executive and Project Teams in Automation Projects, 2008).
    Finance manager: The role of the finance managers is look forward about the financing of the project. Their role is to manage the risk and issues. The risk analysis and estimating the cost is the main task for them.
