To understand diversity training, it is important to discuss the idea of diversity. We live in a multicultural and increasingly globalized world. Thus people of different ethnicities, cultures and beliefs often find themselves working together, sharing services, communities, facilities and living in one community, mingling in various social functions and organizations. Where cultural differences can result to conflict and barriers at communicating and achieving objectives and functions together, diversity training is utilized for the purpose of bridging people and helping them work out how to best work together despite their differences.
