Divorce can severely impact children, especially, young children. The trauma of divorce comes with absence or limited exposure to one of the two parents. If, both parents re marry again, or one of the parents re marries, the child feels neglected. If the child can sense that the parents continually fight over who gets to keep the child, during custody, s/he may turn away from both the parents and feel emotionally confused to dejected, scared and insecure.
