One of the most important challenge while implementing a TQM program is the resistance among the employees to embrace the change. It is a universal phenomenon that change is not always welcome as people are happy with their routine tasks and processes. Therefore, any new change demanding significant alterations in current processes will always attract resistance. Such challenges can be effectively resolved by devising a training program for the employees to make them understand the real benefits of such new changes as well as information session to clarify their doubts and remove their fears. Further, a suitably designed reward and incentive system will also resolve the issues.
