What are the advantages of the new foods? What are their competitive advantages?

The major advantage of the introduction of a new, healthier and organic food as well as Kid's menu to the product offerings of Mcdonald's will be that the company will broaden its target market and will be able to cater to the ever growing population base of people that prefer to eat healthy and are conscious of their diet. This strategy will significantly improve the corporate image and branding of Mcdonald's which has traditionally been looked as a provider of unhealthy, junk food at their outlets.

It will also allow Mcdonald's to gain significant competitive advantage over its close rivals such as Burger King's by positioning the company as a provider of healthy and kid friendly menu, thereby driving more footfall at its outlets. Parents will be more eager to take their kids to Mcdonald's than any other outlet because it will have something for everyone in the family.

What should be avoided? What are your competitive weaknesses? And what are you financial weaknesses? ...
