Kirkpatrick is known for four levels of evaluation:

Level 1: Reaction
Level 2: Learning
Level 3: Behavior
Level 4: Results

How can these simple four levels be applicable in most organizations? Why would we want the same four levels in most organizations?

The levels are set up so that it becomes harder as you move through the levels, and the levels can really be universally applied, for the most part, in training programs in most organizations. When we deal with level 1, we're focusing on the customer. We're asking how satisfied our customers are, what they want, and what they need.
