What are possible conflicts that you may experience in the workplace and in your personal life? Provide at least three possible conflicts and two alternative solutions to each.

There are many conflicts that arise between the work/life balance including childcare, spousal support, and even caring for elderly parents. In reference to caring for young children, some women and men may want to experience the infant's first 6 months of life without having to juggle work and their duties to their newborn, but this could be alleviated by taking a leave that is afforded by the employer as well as mandated by the federal government. In reference to spousal support, many marriages have been ruined because of long hours by either spouse as the stress associated with being constantly separated because of the job carries over into the person's personal life. There are no easy solutions for this issue, a person can't justify to an employer that they need time off for their marriage, but the person can reduce the amount of hours they work when they have been working overtime as well as attempt to work from home if they are competent and experienced enough to do so.
