Nestle should consider important government and legal factors when carrying out its operations in the US and abroad. For instance, it must adhere to the tax policy of the country where it is doing business, it must comply with environmental regulations, respect trade restrictions, pay tariffs and respect the law of every country in which it does business. For instance, there were genetically modified organisms found in Chinese Nesquik. This was in violation of the local laws. In addition, Nestle should evaluate the economic environment factors locally and abroad. In this context it should evaluate exchange rate change, interest rates in different countries, inflation rate and overall economic growth. In the same context Nestle should evaluate the social factors on both domestic and international level. It should take adequate steps for safety, should consider the health consciousness of the people and respect career attitudes.
