Most of you are at home, at work, or perhaps a coffee shop right now. Look around you and take note of the brands you see (maybe the soda can on your desk, or even the brand name on your computer). Think about the prevalence of brands in your life. As product categories cross your mind, consider the brands that come to mind. Do you have a favorite in any particular product category? Coffee? Shampoo? Toothpaste? Retail store? Electronic equipment? Vehicle? What do you know about it? How did you learn the information? Why is it your favorite? What does it do for you? Have you tried its competitors for comparison? Overall, would you consider yourself someone who uses brands for utilitarian reasons or status, or for some other reason? In the Brand Blog, reflect on your branding behavior.
