I am totally lost and have no idea what needs to be done. I need your help on this assignment. There is nothing in my book. I attached the template that talks about the assignment.
Hello. You don't need to be so worried, what you are being asked here is to conduct an observational research in a qualitative nature. Part 1 is asking you to identify a subject of study and conduct an observational field work. Part 2 asks you to list down your observations. Part 3 asks you to describe the social phenomenon from part 2 and to analyse whether or not, based on your observation, the institution of daycare is going to be a necessary part of the community/American society. Since you did not specify if you have done your research already, I shall assume that you have not yet done it so I shall create a sample solution for you, a simulated one, one that follows the demands of the problems. One thing though, if you have already done your research, use this solution as your guide and input your ideas together with the suggested solution. Good luck!

It begins the spark of the interest in learning and allows children an experience of a bigger ...
The solution is a comprehensive 1,511-word essay that tackles the role of the Daycare system in American society and its manifest and latent functions. The solution comes in 3 parts, the first part discusses the history and social function of daycare, the second is a table comparing manifest and latent functions and the third is a review of the American Daycare system from a functionalist perspective. References are listed, both web and print, for expansion of ideas provided. It is in the attached word-version that the table can be fully viewed/seen.
