Hello. You don't need to be so worried, what you are being asked here is to conduct an observational research in a qualitative nature. Part 1 is asking you to identify a subject of study and conduct an observational field work. Part 2 asks you to list down your observations. Part 3 asks you to describe the social phenomenon from part 2 and to analyse whether or not, based on your observation, the institution of daycare is going to be a necessary part of the community/American society. Since you did not specify if you have done your research already, I shall assume that you have not yet done it so I shall create a sample solution for you, a simulated one, one that follows the demands of the problems. Daycare as a social agency has existed since the early part of the 20th century adapting childcare practices that hearken back to practices from Old Europe in terms of mothering, rearing and nurturing children. Daycare essentially is a structured social practice whereby an agency termed as daycare takes on the role of nurturing, teaching, rearing and caring after the youngest children starting at least from the age of 3 or 4 for a certain period of time in a day.
