Dear Student,
Hi and thank you for using Brainmass. The solution below should get you started. But, before going into the details, let us first discuss some strategies in writing a historical account about a historical character. In the example below, I chose to write about Machiavelli. Since this is a historical account, you are expected to write about him, his origins, his contributions to humanity and significant events in his life. It does not have to be expansive. An 800-word paper should be just about enough. As for his strengths and weaknesses, this is very much opinion-based. What do you think makes him such a strong character? What do you think makes him a problematic character? In the end, its only you who can answer these questions because this will depend on how you 'read' the man. Now, I shall first suggest an Outline. Remember in Historiography, it is important to present Chronology as well as context, so let us do your paper this way:

Title: Niccolo Machiavelli's life and times

Introduction: Birth and childhood (about 200 words)
Body 1: Education and Significant Life Events ( this should include personal life events, about 300 words)
Body 3: Contributions to Philosophy and Political Theory (about 300 words)
Body 4: A critique about his Strengths and Weaknesses (about 200 words)

Resources: (here, write down all the sources of the information you have used)

As I explained above, you should follow the outline and make your work simple. This way, it would be easy enough to complete and historically, it will contains elements that follows chronology and is highly comprehensible. If you have any questions, just let me know via the feedback section. Good luck with your studies.

Sincerely,
