Please help. A lot of credits available for this. I need a lot of help with my final paper for one of my leadership courses. Here is what i need from the assignment.
Students will interview a senior leader in their organization. I interviewed Mr. Black per say. MR Black made the following answers to questions.
A. What is his/her definition of leadership? NOT TO EVER HAVE TO ASK YOUR TEAM TO DO SOMETHING, SET EXAMPLE AND HAVE PEOPLE DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
b. What is the interviewee's role as a leader? Set the vision for the organization. to be the champion for the organization. as a facilitator. guiding team in the right direction.
How do you know if he/she is an effective leader? You can use Metrics. is the reaction and change of the culture from previous regime of leadership can be a better barometer than metrics . In a team aspect, is the team responding> how does the culture change. have you reconnected to the community. what was the community pulse before and after being anointed as leader.
c. What leadership characteristics (knowledge/skills/behaviors) does a healthcare administrator need to possess? courage, gotta have courage. broad based education of clinical and financial side of the ledger. have to know the community and the needs
d. How does the person motivate employees? By being around. Its being self deprecating. By showing people the real side.
How about TEAMS? Same as with all employees. by being around and being a positive influence on all.
e. What formal training, if any, is offered to employees? At what level? Mid-level? Executive? Leadership courses, motivational courses, whatever you feel they need to enhance skill set, they have it. They rely on leaders.
f. What are the future needs or trends regarding leadership within the organization? ONE NEED CAN BE AT SUCCESSIVE PLANNING WITHIN LEADERSHIP RANKS. The organization needs to have better planning.
So, I need the following based on those answers. The focus of this project is the analysis of the interview from an academic perspective. This assignment should be a comprehensive assessment of the leadership constructs exhibited by the leader. Students should analyze the interview with regard to leadership theories and models, motivational models and team engagement that is demonstrated by the leader. Integrate supporting research to substantiate your assumptions!
