Organizations are a subset of the society they are embedded. These organizations are made up of individuals with unique perspectives and social constructs that ultimately feed into the organizations culture. Therefore is it very critical to establish culture and hire individuals that are willing to adopt and share organizations culture. The unfortunate side of the hiring process is that "dark characteristics" are not easily identifiable leading to sometimes incompetent management or mixmatch. Typically these characteristics are over shadowed by well developed social skills, otherwise knows as character flaws. This unknown variable may lead some Senior managers to hire less skilled but well know management because of unpredictability of behaviors and attitudes. Organizations culture can be the downfall of an organization if not management properly. Culture is the perception of how employees are treated, what is important to an organization and how it conducts business. It is difficult to assess an organizations culture via a interview process. Unfortunately, when there are culture conflicts, depending on whether the individual can disconnect from the organization psychologically and still be productive, typically resign.

Leadership is multifaceted and incorporates four major components--leader, follower, situation and organization. All four of these components play a vital role in the success of leadership, which ultimately feeds into the success of the organization. Having a well defined organization design and strategy is a good start; consequently may render different results based on unique leadership perspectives.
