To effectively develop sponsorship presentations the organization must utilize effective research in regards to the company's philanthropic history. This can be accomplished by going to a company website, analyzing magazine articles regarding the company, and other industry-specific resources that are focused on the company. The information on the company must be vetted before approaching the company with a sponsorship presentation in a thorough manner before writing the corporate sponsorship proposal. The people in charge of the proposal must decide the sections that are most pertinent for the proposal and these should include without question sections for history and mission, financial information, programs and future goals.
