In times of crisis, this could be information about the where to go, where to get supplies, help, medical needs or what happens next. Letting people know what is happening and the details of the disaster is important to keep unnecessary panic from occurring. Sometimes the unknown or misinformation can create problems so supporting public communication is necessary.
