For students experiencing difficulty understanding the skill or concept I would first develop an individual educational assessment for the child to ascertain what specific areas of concern need to be addressed regarding their deficiency. Once the problem has been defined I would tailor my lesson plans toward incorporating extra time for these students as well as questions that adhere to their individual learning styles to ensure that the child is able to understand the skill or concept in accordance to their learning style.

b. Students progressing at a faster rate than average.

For exceptional students more advanced than others in the class I would first utilize these students to assist other students in their learning, which would further hone their skills and concept of the subject matter. Next I would ensure that my lesson plan has more challenging concepts and assignments for these students to keep their interest as well as provide cognitively stimulating work for these advanced children.
