Twitter followers: Nike 8.97 million, Adidas 4.1 million, Reebok 0.70 million
YouTube: Subscribers Nike 1.67 million, Adidas 0.93 million, Reebok 0.16 million
Tiktok followers: Nike 2.1 million, Adidas 0.89 million, Reebok 0.054 million
I feel that the Nike Twitter followers metric is important because it shows how large the audience of Nike is. Having more followers than what its competitors have is better. This means Nike can reach out to a larger audience and create more opportunities for marketing Nike products. Since, Nike has a better following on Twitter than its competitors (Misirlis, N., & Vlachopoulou, M. 2018), Twitter helps distribute Nike content faster and wider.
