First of all the project manager needs to have a vision for whom his team members will be, how they will communicate with one another, and how he will define for them the key goals of the project. One of the most important components of a successful project team is consistency standards. In every stage of the project, guidelines should be developed for both the content as well as the format of the final work products. Another important component is cross-team communication. The project manager should discuss and coordinate common requirements, similar issues, shared data, and reusable functionality. Participation of sub-teams should be encouraged in the development of shared goals and objectives. Because this is necessary for cross team interaction and decision making. Consistent deliverable, quality assurance, methodological, and review standards must apply to all team members equally.
