In reference to corporate governance within any organization, the board of directors, managers, and Information Technology team are responsible for ensuring that cybersecurity is implemented and created for the organization to prevent any threats to business continuity. The relationship that exists is placated upon leadership working in tandem with the IT team and managers to identify all potential threats as well as the level of vulnerability the organization faces from threats that could cause financial, reputational, and legal problems that could potentially ruin the organization. The first point is to ensure that leaders, management, and the IT team are aware of the specific threats to (your) organization, which is followed by undertaking a detailed review to assess and audit the history of threats and security throughout the organization. This assessment should provide a detailed assessment of the specific risks and liabilities associated with potential attacks in regard to commercial and regulatory consequences of any breaches of the organization's cybersecurity. Once the assessment has been completed, the organization must formulate a credible cybersecurity plan.

After the cybersecurity plan has been created and implemented, it is the responsibility of the organization to put in place policies and procedures that will guide and dictate employee behavior. In addition, a specialized team of trained managers should be used to oversee the organization's continued adherence to cybersecurity wherein the objective is to have a team of IT leaders who are capable of responding to any threats as well as ensuring that the system is maintained to prevent any ...
