Proper use of PR by this organization helps to build and establish the trust factor necessary to provide medical services to the communities they serve. Since PR is basically information that is presented throughout a wide base of media, and usually without any form of payment, it has more credibility than advertising.

Within various organizations, PR can be utilized in a multitude of ways:
- New product introduction - When promoting an existing product or announcing a new one, PR builds awareness, differentiates a product from its competitors and strives to change existing consumer behavior.

- Employee relations - Since a company's employees are one of its most important audiences, PR is used to promote and uphold the company's image and reputation among its employees.

- Financial relations - this involves communicating a company's financial information to those beyond the board room. This includes investors and any number of public financial analysts. The purpose could be to increase the perception of the company thus increasing its stock prices which makes it easier for the company to raise capital for growth.

- Community relations - All companies need an ongoing community relations program to ensure a continued perception of the company being a good corporate citizen.
