The author wants to better understand the marketing students and the programs to analyze if the expectations and experience help students to achieve goals and if the marketing programs need change to meet the demands. While international student populations continue to grow, they are not bringing much in the way of experience to the programs. Marketing programs must meet the needs of students and educator, but must also work to meet demands of employers who need graduates who are ready to work in the field. This research will help define those needs and what students need to achieve the goals to work in the field. From this study, perceptions of what the students understand about their prior expectations, learning intentions and experiences, will be better understood.
3. how does the author arrive at his research objectives. what methodology does the author employ to achieve these objective.
The author uses empirical data in a quantitative study to address this objectives. He chose a sample of students from 4 British universities and gathered the data to analyze. Data was gathered through survey. The ...
