    What are three techniques that can be implemented to improve the relationship between management and staff?

    An organization solely depends on management for the purpose of maintaining a productive team. The relationship among management and staff is an important factor of an organization's success. If managers want to succeed, they must treat their employees with respect and vice versa if they want to succeed and achieve organizational goals. There are three techniques I think that can be effective in improving relationships between management and staff.
    1.) Keep employees motivated. Management can motivate employees by providing incentives, and rewarding them for their hard work. When employees are motivated, they are more willing to work for management and there is a sense of trust established. Trust enhances the relationship among management and staff.
    2.) Spend time with employees. Sometimes, management tends to forget the staffs that make it all happen. It is important for them to build relationships among staff by having an individual meeting with each staff member to determine if they are happy with their jobs and what improvement in the relationship is necessary in order to do their jobs well.
    3.) Plan a team building event. Getting everyone together as a team and allowing them to undergo various team building activities enhances the relationship among management and staff. Team building activities allows management and staff to get to know each other better on a more personal level.

    If you were in charge, how would you work with the manager to improve working relationships?

    If I were in charge, I would work with management by providing them the necessary training to improve the relationships among their staff. Sometimes, managers need to learn how to listen to their staff for the purpose of understanding what areas of the organization need improvement. Situational leadership training for managers would also be ideal for the purpose of building relationships long term.
