Technology plays an important role in managing human resources/people. In several ways, it improves human resource functions.
Technological applications facilitate production, marketing, and employee handling. Filling up of inventory of raw materials, facilitating sales transactions, and maintaining and updating employee records are made easy and accurate through various technological applications.
However, human factor should also be taken into account. This requires usability and functionality testing, in order to determine what works and what do not work to people in the organization.
In computer, the hardware part is said to be the human factor while the software part is said to be the technology part.
