It helps in creating value in the form of improved business processes, is indispensable in the development of new products and services and makes it easier for companies to respond to changes in the environment, competition and the marketplace. Role of Project Manager
Project manager is responsible for the planning, execution and control of the project. Hence he is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution and closure of a project. The project manager must possess a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve interpersonal conflicts as well as more systematic management skills.
