Online and offline marketing are different from each other because of the use of electronic media. In offline marketing process of B2C marketing, the business firms cannot use electronic media sources. The B2C website and B2B website are mainly work on the concept of e-marketing strategy (Boone & Kurtz, 2006).
Business to Consumer and Business to Business Website
Business to Consumer website (B2C): The B2C website can be described as the intermediary gateway between the business organization and consumers (Cao, Zhang & Seydel, 2005). This website assists the suppliers to connect with the customers in a fast and effective way and maintain loyalty towards the customers (Murphy, 2007). The foremost gateways of B2C website are an auction site (eBay), a technology market place (ZDNet), an internet version of yellow pages (Yell), etc. (Cao, Zhang & Seydel, 2005). The B2C website mainly comprises six general aspects such as it is very complicated business process, requires user log in, shopping basket system, get information anytime from anywhere, well-situated and easy shopping hub, security and privacy of consumer is on high priority (Krishnamurthy & Singh, 2005).
In this business model, the internet business companies mainly concentrate on meeting the needs and requirements of the end-customers. This makes easy for the B2C business organizations to sales and markets their services to the consumers in an effective manner (Boone & Kurtz, 2006).
