1. The background is that my company makes plastic molded toys and employs more than 50 workers, so the provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act are applicable. One woman who was employed in the finishing department took pregnancy leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act. She had worked for more than 12 months and during the past 12 months had worked for more than 1,250 hours. In short, she was eligible for FMLA leave. She applied for leave in the month of April and got leave from the month of May. She delivered in the month of July, and returned to work in August.
