    Select a process in your own organization that needs improvement and and address the following deliverables:

    a. A description of the chosen process

    b. An "As-Is" (before) an a Improved (after) flow chart of the process to be analyzed.

    c. Describe the relationship of the process to the organization's strategic plan.

    d. Identify the internal and external customers that are currently impacted by the process that would benefit from the process improvement.

    e. Identify the most appropriate Quality Management tool that can be used to collect and present data on the process improvement changes

    f. Utilize your selected quality tool to analyze your process and identify process improvement opportunities.

    g. Estimate the level of improvement that could be realized and the value of implementing this process improvement.

    h. Finally, discuss your findings from the simulation activity and assess relevance to your process improvement project.

    "The goal of performance appraisal is to encourage high levels of employee motivation and performance and to provide accurate information to be used in managerial decision making," (George & Jones, 2005, p. 265). The main function of the performance reviews will be:
    1) Appraisals provide information upon which promotion and salary decisions are made;
    2) They provide an opportunity for you and your subordinates to review his or her work-related behavior;
    3) It provides an opportunity to review the subordinate's career plans in light of his or her strengths and weaknesses; and
    4) They help you better manage and improve your firm's importance.

    b. An "As-Is" (before) an Improved (after) flow chart of the process to be analyzed.

    Agreeing on content
    Agreeing on process
    Location and space
    Opening the interview
    Starting the discussion
