SPSS Computation and Interpretation (One-way ANOVA): Use the gssnet.sav file to answer
the following questions: in the General Social Survey people classified themselves as being very
happy, pretty happy, or not too happy (Professor's Note: instead of using the variable 'happy',
please use the variable 'hapmar' in your analysis). Consider the relationship between marriage
happiness and age.

(a) Compute basic descriptive statistics for each of the three happiness groups
(specifically, please comment on the meaning related to the 95% Confidence Interval for the
mean, the trimmed mean, the standard deviation, and the standard error)

(b) Perform aone-way analysis of variance on these data. What can you conclude? Which groups are
significantly different from one another using the Bonferroni test?
