As you compare the two types, I argue that scholarly articles typically contain a much more solid research base, as well as a evidence research hypothesis than the other types. Scholarly articles also tend to reflect extensive research efforts, cite articles, books, and other studies about the topic to further validate the authors' assertions and hypotheses.
