If a person crossdresses for economic gain then it tends to be excluded as a fetish. The economic gain becomes the focus whereas in the fetish the sexual function is the focus. So, a star or a performer who cross dresses for their act does not have a fetish. And, in general, women are not diagnosed as cross dressers since this culture accepts many types of apparel for women. Is this true why or why not?
