All the specific implementation activities that need to be accomplished.
Assignment of responsibility for each specific task.
A specific data by which each task is to be completed.
Develop mechanisms for self-regulation.
Specify a plan to build and maintain support.
Monitoring Program or Policy Implementation

Monitor your program or policy to analyze if it provides solutions to the problems presented in the project scenario for the Fictionland Police Department.

Outline your process monitoring and evaluations strategy by deciding how you will monitor the following dimensions of your program or policy:

Program staff or individuals responsible for implementing the program or policy

Hi and thank you for using BrainMass. The solution below should get you started. In this particular task, I have assumed that you needed help in translating the material you already have into a PowerPoint presentation - that is, using the given scenario. As you know, I cannot complete this task for you, although I can however guide you in completing it. I suggest making your presentation simple with each slide corresponding to what you need to complete. I suggest therefore using this outline:

1. Scenario - provide a summary - 100 words
2. The Social Issue - 100 words
3. Action plan: resources, acquisition, time limit, data, maintenance - 2 slides, 200 words or more
4. Monitoring Plan: staff, evaluation programs, implementation, targets - 2 slides, 200 words or more

As you can see, this is a simplified 6-slide presentation. It can be easily expanded however by making a more complex presentation by adding more information (i.e. data statistics), images and citing resources. M

Title: Racial Profiling Issue

A growing town, Fictionland is facing the problem of being accused of having a police department that use racial profiling in its bid to keep crime down. Its growth over the decades has seen the town become increasingly multicultural, ethnically diverse (25% of its population is made up of races other than White) and complaints have been filed against racially discriminative practices by the police department over the years. Each time, the Internal Affairs of FPD would investigate and their investigation yielded results of no wrongdoing. A whistleblower however has managed to surface a tape wherein an FPD Officer, Tim Smith was shown making judgments based on race and doing so, acted in an aggressive and discriminative manner against one Antoine Jones who, being black, was profiled by Smith as a 'crack dealer' because Jones was driving a nice car. Jones was stopped, and while he complied with police requests underwent police brutality where Smith peppered sprayed him without provocation. The video evidence is contrary to what Smith claimed where he said Jones swung at him and he only acted in self defence.

Title: Racial Profiling

Racial profiling, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (2015), "law enforcement and private security practices that disproportionately target people of color for investigation and enforcement." Essentially it is about a discriminative, prejudiced and biased judgement call that police and law enforcement officials ...
