    Defining Conflict

    Overt conflict is 'physical or symbolic confrontation in which ones parties words or actions are opposed by another.

    A 'Conflict of interest' is a situation which two parties goals cannot be simultaneously achieved.

    There are many complexities of group conflict for example human conflict can be enormously destructive compared to that of animals (for example wars have caused mass destruction).
