The most common of these tests are standardized tests developed to quantify the skills and knowledge learned by students at a particular grade or level. The standardization is due to the fact that in so doing, tests are deployable at a state-wide and national level making the tests applicable across a wide variety of settings among a target populace wherein the test is the same making the results comparable accordingly in terms of achievement.
