We can use knowledge of psychology theory and research to promotes a positive worldview of cultural diversity by applying positive psychology concepts such as inclusiveness, creativity, resilience and social responsibility to all cultures, albeit these facets might present slightly differently in different cultures. As the United States becomes more culturally diverse, for example, multicultural strengths development will grow increasingly important in promoting academic performance, career success and satisfaction, and socio-emotional health (Galassi & Akos, 2007; Ponterotto et al., 2006, as cited in http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Promoting+multicultural+personality+development:+a+strengths-based,...-a0191213589).
These actions promote a positive worldview of cultural diversity.

As well, a relatively new theoretical construct for cultural diversity consideration is the "multicultural personality" (MP). The MP is conceptualized as a cluster of narrow personality traits that can be subsumed under broader models of personality. For example, research has found that MP development is correlated with coping, adapting, and thriving in increasingly culturally diverse environments such as the United States.
