When we talk about a paradigm - we refer to a way of thinking or viewing things. It is very much the same as the word 'perspective'. A theory offers a way of viewing certain phenomenon as it explains the dynamics of it. As such a theory is a kind of paradigm. Psychodynamics was established by Sigmund Freud. He proposed that human behavior is driven by unconscious forces that we are not aware of. Each manifestation of behavior, thought or speech is brought about by a hidden motive or intent.
