Meaning that with a case study, a researcher is able to get first-hand information on the behaviors associated with a particular issue, or with particular issues. On the other hand, the purpose of an experimental study is to provide researchers accurate, hands on information to prove their hypothesis by allowing them to manipulate variables and get the exact result(s) that they are looking for, should there be a relationship between the variables.
