What are the primary barriers to implementing strategies in organizations? What's the coinciding role of a healthcare administrator? How the action plans for a division are similar to action plans at the functional level? How are they different?

The primary barriers that exist within healthcare organizations in reference to preventing strategic initiatives from being implemented include physician and organizational resistance. This resistance is placated upon fear from physicians that new systems will result in changes to their practices as well as potential replacements if they can't adapt. Many employees' are resistant to change, which is why many employees in healthcare institutions are reluctant to engage new strategies.
