1. Family Day - This is an activity which is composed of class presentations, games, classroom decoration, etc. It has a theme which is the basis of the preparation, e.g., Family Day/International Day - Each class will represent a country and will decorate their classrooms according to the country they have chosen. They will transform their classroom to show more about that specific country, show food and pictures, etc. They will also present a dance, song or role-play depicting that country. During the games, they will sponsor a game that is being played by the country they represent. All the parents can participate in many ways, e.g., decorate classroom, join games, and join in the presentation. Parents would want to attend since their child will be expecting them as it is a family event. Motivation or more points for Homeroom grades of the pupil will be given to those whose parents have participated in the affair.
2. Sports and Games Day - A day of fun and surprises, sports, games, contests for parents ...
The solution lists activities, events, learning social and cultural activities to promote participation and integration of family and community in the early education program particularly in kindergarten. The activities are discussed and aspects why parents would want to participate in the activities are also explained.
