Standardized testing: A conventional way of checking the results of education or a new caste system?

1.

The argument that standardized testing is a "new caste system" is very accurate, but the term "new" isn't appropriate because standardized testing is rooted in the racist era of intelligence testing wherein these tests were in collusion with so-called "Eugenics" and other white supremacist policies that sought to prove that whites were superior to minorities. Therefore, this caste system that still exists in standardized testing wherein "privileged, rich, and mostly white" students possess the highest scores on these tests that are created by and for white upper middle-class test takers is rooted in "generations" of this caste system. Standardized testing is another tool in the white supremacist system of social control wherein wealthy and well-off parents who possess the resources, time, and previous knowledge of how to "game" these tests ensure that their children will be prepared to receive the highest test scores whereas mostly minority students struggle on these tests and are unable to advance academically as a result.

This caste system is based upon how a racist society such as the United States defines a "student's" merit in which the U.S. affixes merit to potential ability derived from these unfair tests instead of the actual scholastic performance of students. Because of the importance placed on these tests by the majority white society, elite colleges and universities, K-12 schools, and society as a whole have willingly accepted non-scientific notions about a persons' and even entire groups intellect based upon these racist standardized tests. In addition to these tests' atrocious bias toward students of color, most states have also conditioned or tacitly forced teachers to "teach to the test" and some states and school districts even produce "distorted" scores of their students to ensure they aren't penalized or lose funding because of low standardized test scores. ...
