Your questions are to be directedat a student. They should NOT be questions that can be answered with a single or short answer such as yes, no or maybe. They need to be questions that will require the student to think about the question topic, and justify their response. Much like an essay question, which is another open-ended question type, these questions should elict an opinion and reasons for that opinion.
