What is a Web 2.0 Tool - Voki?
The Voki.com program enables animated characters to be created in the shapes of avatars that give users their own online voice and/or autonomy to use text-to-speech. The program allows users to customize their avatar by giving it a voice, selecting the display background, as well as the player. The video length is limited to 60 seconds. Faculty members can use the tool as an instructional methodology instead of a text-based announcement.
