I am addressing each bullet in the spaces provided. I am addressing points from the perspective of a regular inclusive education teacher of foreign language. Of course, changes to this response will need to be adapted for your specific situation.

Student population would include those of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The population would include those of a wide range of abilities from the highly gifted to potentially those with learning disabilities. As it is an elective course, often students with sever mental disabilities are discouraged from taking a foreign language.

o Describe the types of services available for clients or students from within the district or agency in your area.

In addition to special education services provided by the district, outside support agencies are available for any who may be homeless or have substance abuse issues. Examples would include Catholic charities(Ste. Joachim & Anne), Crider and CenterPointe hospital

o Describe the collaboration of those at this site with outside support services such as county and private agencies, non-profit organizations, etc in your area.

Regular IEP collaborative meeting are held for students who have been identified and are receiving special education services. Regular education teachers collaborate regularly on grade level teams to discuss and brainstorm how best to serve the needs of students on the team.
