Basically, developmental-thematic curriculum is where curriculum is based on themes for different levels of learners. Therefore, it is developmentally appropriate curriculum offered to students throughout the grades. Themes for younger children may involve things like the seasons, so the students would study how pumpkins grow in the fall and perhaps they would do a project with leaves and their changing color and discuss why that happens. All of these topics can be integrated into the curriculum through literature about the seasons, science projects about the seasons, etc. Of course, this would not be an appropriate activity for a high school student, so that is why the term "developmental" is ...
