A Literature Review

First, in conducting the literature review for the topic, What are the benefits of using music for talented and gifted students as an instructional tool?, i have decided to utilize my school access for the online database, PRoQuest. ProQuest includes in its collection very varied academic references particularly in the field of education such as the Teacher Librarian, Music Educators Journal, and The Gifted Child Quarterly among others. These journals are very important sources for the literature review as these are reputable academic and peer reviewed academic publications.
Fortunately, in my research I did not find any resources that are not considered scholarly. This is so because at the start of my research I have already limited the articles and references that I can view to those from scholarly and peer reviewed journals only. Hence, there were no resources I found that are not considered scholarly.
Nevertheless, a literature review is a challenging and complex process. The challenge is how to integrate several scholarly articles and references into one coherent piece. Moreover, being exposed to a lot of ideas given a certain topic in mind can also alter ...
