Consider one of the most complex products that we purchase and use - the automobile. Today's automobile is like a space ship compared to Ford's Model T. Computer's control many of the functions of the vehicle's driving operations and they now include voice commands for radio and communication and GPS systems for locating. Soon we will be using GPS to actually drive the vehicle.
Assignment: Consider the automobile generically - in other words think of any automobile not one specific model or brand. Using the 9 dimensions of quality, discuss these in terms of the automobile.
Expectations: As a consumer, which of these quality aspects are the most important to you? Why? What are some changes in the automobile that might come into existence in the market in the next few (2 - 6) years that will improve the overall quality of the automobile?
